How can I purchase the book?
The book is sold through Gumroad; a platform which allows us to easily distribute and update the book. When you purchase the book, you get both a PDF and EPUB version thereof.
After careful consideration, we have decided not to publish through Amazon. Unfortunately, they lack the mechanism to provide regular updates without generating a lot of additional effort to maintain and publish the book.
How can I get the updated book files?
Whenever we publish an update, we swap files on the Gumroad platform for newer versions. Earlier updates will remain available too.
What to expect from this book?
We aim to deliver practical content which comes from extensive real-world experience. We mix deep-dives with an overview of the different capabilities so that you have a solid foundation and understanding of the platform’s capabilities.
Acknowledgements
This book is a collaborative effort of many people. We are lucky to be able to call upon the expertise of many others, including many people at Microsoft who have been willing to patiently answer any and all question(s) we have thrown at them.
Feedback
Your feedback is crucial to us. Have you spotted an error (both technically, or grammatically)? Well, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at feedback[at]m365securitybook.com. We’ll make sure your feedback is heard and that it will be included in future updates.
What’s next?
The book is never finished. If we were to cover all security features of Microsoft 365 before releasing the book, we would never get to publish it in the first place!
As we update the book, we will also be adding new content. In the coming releases (over the next few months), you can expect more information to be included in the existing chapters, and you can expect new chapters.
If there is anything you believe is missing from the book, or would like to see covered (in more depth), feel free to send us a message at feedback[at]m365securitybook.com. We’ll be happy to take it into consideration!
How does this book relate to Office 365 for IT Pros?
Both books exist on their own. However, I don’t like to reinvent the wheel. The book format Tony conceived and the method of publishing will be the same; albeit delivered through a different channel and as a separate product. For some things, which are also covered in Office 365 for IT Pros, we gladly refer to it. This being said: it’s by no means a must to purchase both books, but they go well together!
Inevitably, some overlap exists between both books. But that’s never a bad thing: you’ll get different opinions from different authors which can only enhance one’s comprehension of a topic.
